Quick Trip in Cebu and Bohol Adventure

It was just a quick side trip in Cebu, before going to Bohol.

And finally, we arrived in Bohol. And the adventure begins. Our first stop is in EAT Danao:

That's "The Plunge", an extreme adventure (bunjee jump and swing). As the rope was unleashed,  you'll fall drop from a high cliff.

Our next stop: Sagbayan Peak

A great place to view the chocolate hills, although it's not the main Chocolate hills area

It's already dark when we left Sagbayan Peak.  More places to visit on my 2nd day of vacation, and that would be exciting.

Mt. Pinatubo

I was really impressed with the scenery of Pinatubo crater.

We left Manila Around 4AM. We arrived Brgy. Sta Juliana arround 8AM, then we transferred to 4x4 jeep.

The ride was awesome but was very bumpy.

We did stop for a few minutes to take some pictures.

Then we trek going to the crater for 1 hour.

After the long walk, it is really worth it. The view was spectacular.

You can rent a boat in the lake. Although swimming in the lake is not prohibited, our tour guide don't recommend it unless you are a skilled swimmer.

Visiting Mount Pinatubo was a great and wonderful experience.

Taal Volcano

lThe top view is good from Tagaytay City. But it'll be more exciting to  take a closer look at the crater.

From Tagaytay City, we rode a van and took about around an 30 minutes to reach Talisay. They drop us off to a resort.

From Talisay Town, another 30 minutes  boat ride to Taal Volcano Island.

The view is awesome even from the start of our boatride.

We crossed taal lake to get to volcano island. 

Upon reaching the main volcano island,  they gave us an option: we'll take the long hike  OR we'll ride on a horse (which was a bit pricey ). We chose to walk.

After the long walk, we've finally reached the crater.

The view is like a painting :-) Really a great view!

Going back we decided to hire a guide and a horse.

Rode our boat back to Talisay Town.
