Surigao City and Mabua Pebble Beach

On our first day in Surigao, we stayed in Barton's. They picked up at the airport, and it is about 30 minutes away from the airport.

The place is quiet. The view from our room is very nice.  The room is clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and has a bath tub. The staff and the owner were friendly.

After we had our lunch , we decided to rent a tricycle to tour us around Surigao City. We don't have a fixed itinerary so the tricycle driver advised us to go to Tourism office to ask for some information. But the staff from the tourism office didn't able to help us. Seems that there isn't much to visit in the city. The good thing is that, the tricycle driver is more knowledgeable about the tourist site within the place.

Our first stop, is to buy pasalubong.

Our next stop, the Mabua Pebble beach. As the name speaks for itself, the beach is made up of pebbles (instead of sand). We had to be careful while walking. This is the most unique beach I've been to, really extraordinary!

Overall, we had a very good time in Surigao.
